After her yummy Polish dinner, our little lady had energy to play with Kallie's leash and harness - one of her favorite toys!

Our little Polish girl
Grammy Abbey came down to watch K when our nanny Olga had an appointment and she surprised us with yummy dinner for D's birthday. She made Polish stuffed cabbage rolls called Golabki (pronounced ga-WUMP-kee). This is one of D's favorite dishes and K loved it too! She didn't eat the cabbage but loved the ground beef, rice and tomato mixture as you can see from the big smile on her face.

Rollin, rollin, rollin
Dad put together K's birthday wagon and we took a spin today. She had a great time and enjoys her new perspective of the neighborhood.
Cousins outing to the park
Sunday was beautiful so we met cousin L, Uncle J and Aunt T at a park in Park Ridge which is a halfway point for us both. The girls had so much fun playing. The swings were popular!
And then we went on the teeter totter. They both had a great time!
You can tell from K's grin this was a fun day. She loves hanging out with her cousin.

A trip down the slide.
A little picnic lunch in the shade.

Playing in any water I can find
K really loves water (as seen by the water table, playing endlessly in the pool, loving baths, etc). Well she's also obsessed with Kallie's water bowl and immediately crawls for it any time she's left to roam a bit.
Memorial Day Weekend in Wisconsin
For Memorial Day weekend, we made a trip up to Milwaukee to visit the grandparents. It was a really warm weekend and we had fun outside, on walks and in the pool. K got a new sunhat and we were putting on sunscreen to go outside which is always an adventure. She's not the biggest fan of that process!

Playing inside for a bit to cool off. Nana always scoops me up to give me love!

Taking a dip in the pool. I love, love, love the water and wanted to spend the entire day in the pool since it was so hot and sticky.

Time to dry off
Grandpa and Nana have some fun toys. I liked riding this one around the driveway.

Once K got out of the pool, Kallie decided to get in to cool off and take many drinks of water. She kept trying to figure out how to lay down but never actually did.

Aunt Mary, Uncle Dave and Keenan came up for a cookout and K and Keenen hit it off again. Keenan is much more patient than Kallie who doesn't want K to climb on her. Keenan didn't seem to mind one bit!

Say cheese for the camera
The past few weeks, K seems to be catching on to what happens when we take pictures. She has started to perform for the camera a bit and is quite entertaining.
Here's her yoga pose (just wish I was this flexible in yoga!)

Is this a Gene Simmons Kiss impression? Not quite sure!

And now that we know how to hold our own bottle, we decided to use our feet! So this is a monkey pose. Our next goal is to move on to the sippy cup!
