Hook 'em horns!
We took a quick trip down to Austin for cousin P and C's first communion and K had a great time seeing her cousins. It was super hot (in the mid 90s) but we did survive and even brought the warm weather back to Chicago with us!

Let them eat cake
Birthday cake is so yummy but I'll share a little with my daddy!

Party 'til you drop
We celebrated the little lady's second birthday and she had so much fun she fell asleep half way through the party!
Should have known by this glazed look in a picture before the party started...
And here she is conked out in Kate's arms - simply too much party for this little girl.

She woke up later in the afternoon to see many gifts waiting for her but unfortunately no more guests. She got a bike and can't wait to take it out for a spin!

Lamb cake, egg hunts and pretty dresses
** Easter post a little late - sorry for the delay!**
The girls decorated the traditional lamb cake with some added flair including LOTS of jelly beans. They had so much fun!

She actually wore the bunny ears the entire Easter egg hunt and posted for this cute picture with Grammy.
K figured out quickly how the whole Easter egg hunt thing went this year with the help of her sweet cousin who was really great at sharing. She loves collecting things so putting eggs into a little basket was right up her alley.

Toddler sleepover
Trying to balance multiple house showings/open house, second birthday party events and a broken foot, my lovely sister in law offered to take K for a toddler sleepover so we could be productive. Thanks so much! She had a wonderful time as always and kindly sent pics of the little ladies together. Here's bedtime story time!
We finally had sunny weather so the girls went to the park the next day and this picture of K truly captures swinging bliss and happiness. She loves swings and calls them "wee" since that's what she says when swinging... obviously!
