Funny Faces

K has some very funny facial expressions especially as she's waking up. The furrowed brow is definitely something she gets from her dad. Seeing her little personality emerge is very fun to watch!

Hanging with Dad

K and Dad have found a bond in napping/"watching" TV together.

Visit from the WI Grandparents

Grandpa and Nana came for a visit to meet K and to help me out when D returned to work! As you can see, they are pros at getting her to sleep via the rocking chair that I was rocked to sleep in as a baby.

First Sponge Bath

We aren't able to give the little lady a complete bath yet, but she did get a little sponge bath. Thought she looked so cute in her frog towel and had to share!

My First Mother's Day

K arrived just in time for Mother's Day. We celebrated on Sunday with a yummy brunch with the Abbey's.

K also got to meet her cousin! Before you know it they'll be having tea parties together.

I finally have had some time to sit down and download photos off our camera of K. There's a visit with the Abbey grandparents, going home and some of our last few days while at home. Enjoy!

Mexican Food Did the Trick!

After eating Mexican food for dinner on Saturday night, thankfully contractions started! I thought it was an old wives tale and risked severe pregnancy-related heartburn, but definitely worth it!

Kathleen Rose Abbey arrived on Monday, May 4 at 9:45 p.m. She is 6 pounds, 10 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. We are in love with her already and wanted to share some of our first pictures of the little lady.

We arrived home from the hospital today and can't wait for visitors to come over and meet her.
