Enjoying another weekend at Lake WI

We spent another beautiful weekend at Lake Wisconsin with J, T and cousin Lilly. The weather was beautiful so we did spend a bit of time in the water. Dad says this is the last time K is allowed to ever wear a bikini! Love the pudge belly sticking out.

Summer visit to G and G's house

Went for a visit to Grandpa and Nana Woods' house and of course K got much love. She got this beautiful sunflower headband as a gift and even left it in long enough for a photo!

They have this interesting animal that I think is a dog - I woof at it - but it won't let me get at it like Kallie does.

Happy Fourth!

We spent the Fourth of July at the new Abbey family lake house in Merrimac, WI on Lake Wisconsin. The weather was perfect and we got much relaxing in and playing too! K and her cousin Lilly had a great time hanging out.

This is what happens when the guys are grilling and "watching" the girls at the same time. The dog's water bowl is the best toy especially when you put plush toys in the water to float. Nice!

Grammy and Papi were thoughtful by putting a swing in - one of K's favorite activities these days!

Busy in June

This summer has been fun since K is chatting up a storm, is crawling everyone, is almost walking and is turning out to be quite a little character. She loves being in the water and sported her new jelly shoes (remember those from the 80s? well thank you Target!) for playing in the water table.

Not sure how this came to be, but we were in Barrington visiting the Abbey's and probably trying to get her to nap in the car on the way home. That's the only way she's allowed to have her lovie (the blanket on her head) outside her crib. Instead of sleeping she used it as an accessory - of course!

We got new "See Kai Run" shoes to help us walk better and K loves them. She wanted to model them off for all the blog viewers.

In continuing with the water theme, K got a swimming pool for her birthday - thank you Wards! And it is the perfect size for a city patio. She's happy, we can dip our toes into the pool on hot days and Kallie has a very large water bowl.

We don't need to buy any climbing toys for K since Kallie seems to fit that need well. She is thrilled of course! Who knew a dog could look so dramatic?!

Blog neglect - sorry!

Can't believe its almost been a month since a new post - sorry! K has been such a busy girl enjoying the summer, playing in the pool and harassing Kallie. She's very close to walking but not just quite yet. She chats away all the time and has started using more of her sign language which helps us communicate better!
