Busy in June

This summer has been fun since K is chatting up a storm, is crawling everyone, is almost walking and is turning out to be quite a little character. She loves being in the water and sported her new jelly shoes (remember those from the 80s? well thank you Target!) for playing in the water table.

Not sure how this came to be, but we were in Barrington visiting the Abbey's and probably trying to get her to nap in the car on the way home. That's the only way she's allowed to have her lovie (the blanket on her head) outside her crib. Instead of sleeping she used it as an accessory - of course!

We got new "See Kai Run" shoes to help us walk better and K loves them. She wanted to model them off for all the blog viewers.

In continuing with the water theme, K got a swimming pool for her birthday - thank you Wards! And it is the perfect size for a city patio. She's happy, we can dip our toes into the pool on hot days and Kallie has a very large water bowl.
