Let it snow, let it snow...

Yesterday as the wicked snowstorm started hitting Chicago, we decided to take K out for a quick sled trip at our nearby park. Wanted to get out for some fresh air before the arctic freeze set in and we couldn't get her out for a few days! We headed out with our neighbor friends Maddie and Keira. They weren't so sure about why we were out in this frigid weather with wind that whipped the snow in your face!

The look on K's face is funny - she's looking at me like "mom, why are we out here again?"

She had on so many layers she barely was propped up in the sled! Ahh the memories.
