How to Entertain an Energetic Toddler in the Dead of Winter

The weather outside is frightful and K has a bit of a wicked cold... so what to do to avoid cabin fever? Trying new things including finger painting! She seemed to like it a lot, but was not thrilled when she realized her hands were dirty and covered in paint. We had to take a few washing breaks while creating the beautiful works of art.

And sometimes all it takes is a few bags with some "treasures" in them to carry around for awhile. This kept K occupied for at least 30 minutes -loved it!
