We took advantage of the higher than normal temps and a beautiful sunny day to head to the Lincoln Park Zoo. And we had to vacate our house during a showing (fingers crossed someone wants to buy our house soon!). K is now at an age where she really loves the animals, can see them, knows their names and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately the lions were sun bathing in this picture but she did enjoy looking at them basking in the sun.
K is constantly on the move and didn't want to be in the stroller much. Had to capture this cute dad-daughter hand holding moment! This lasted for only about an hour when she no longer wanted to hold hands and simply run around the zoo. Which did unfortuantely mean one scraped knee but she got over it quickly.
