Baby girl Abbey has arrived!

On Friday, July 7th I was scheduled for a version to turn baby girl Abbey from a breech position to head down. Well, she really didn't want that to happen and I ended up having an emergency c-section later that day since I had pre-eclampsia and the attempted version lowered baby's heart rate. Scary time for mom and especially dad, but she was born on Friday, July 7 at 3:02 p.m. Her stats were 6 pounds 4 ounces, 17 1/2 inches long and she was beautiful. K is thrilled that "baby" has arrived and is very curious about her every move. She even took home the little pink stocking cap and a newborn diaper to dress up her own baby. Here are some pictures:
