Holding our breath

E is responding well to the Diazoxide as her glucose readings continue to rise and they continue to decrease the amount of glucose solution she receives by IV each hour. However we continue to hold our breath as we get through the two day "honeymoon period" the physicians referred to where all patients tend to respond well to the drug. We are anxious to see if she continues to respond well to the drug in days 3, 4 and beyond. The heavens are receiving many, many prayers as we've heard from friends and family far and wide and of course are sending many ourselves. Thank you for all the positive thoughts all surrounding this little girl.
